As working with PHP is my day job, I attended the compulsory PHP5 talk by Rasmus entitled Creating Faster and Richer Web Apps with PHP5. Due to a few technical hiccups he ran out of time when it came to talking about the new filter extension. Which is a shame as I would have been interested in what he had to say. As you would expect his talk was interesting. I liked his definition of web 2.0 - large fonts! No, web 2.0 is about building a framework allowing users to add the content. For example flickr is nothing without the photos users add.
