Andrew Kontra Round up

Well it's been over a month now, so how are Alan and Joe faring in their Andrew Kontra challenge? A brief recap, the challenge was to rank for the keyword Andrew Kontra. A search on Google shows Alan has the number one spot and Joe is trailing at number four. Interestingly LinkedIn profiles are ranking well taking the number two position. andrew-kontra dot com is number three (but that's cheating).

What about the other search engines? Looking at Yahoo! LinkedIn has knocked off developersrevolt for number one position and Joe doesn't feature until the second page in position nineteen. I gave up looking for their results on both Ask and MSN. I don't know if Alan and Joe suck or Ask and MSN do. I'm going with Ask and MSN sucking!

However both developersrevolt and everesti2 are blogs, so how do they fare in the blogsphere? Surely there couldn't be too many people blogging about Andrew Kontra.

The king in the blogsphere is Technorati. Surprisingly my last post is coming up trumps on the quick view with neither of them listed. The posts search orders by time which is not always the most helpful. At least Alan tagged his blog as Andew Kontra.

I'm babbling on a bit so I'll wrap in up by mentioning google's blog search engine. It's interesting to compare the results against google's main search results.
